About

My name is Erin and I am passionate about creating an organized, balanced and comfortable home for my family.

My husband and I live in Colorado with:

Our Two Kids,

Our 3 Dogs,

and the chaos that ensues from having all of the above!

Organization and clarity are so important because of our hectic life. I want to help others organize their lives, finances, health and goals so that they can live the best life possible. To me, living the best life is about streamlining all the things you have to do so you have time and energy for the things you want to do.

Some random things about me:

-My husband and I want to visit all 50 states and all 58 National Parks. We have a good list going!

-95% percent of the books I read are non-fiction and I love, love, love to read.

  1. Hello Erin! I just discovered your blog through the Collectively Creative series… so happy I did! I struggle (I mean struggle!!) to maintain an orderly and clean house with a husband who’s working part time in construction… it frustrates me no end. As soon as the bathroom is cleaned, it becomes filled with muddy footprints and sand again! Anyway, it’s been lovely to discover a blog filled with inspiring hints and tips about creating some order in the chaos. Can’t wait to delve into your archive. Your family is gorgeous, by the way! x

    • Thank you so much! I’m so glad you found the blog. I hope there will be helpful tips that can change your life in different ways, big and small! I know the feeling of constantly chasing to keep the house clean. It’s all about developing a system that works for you. As for the muddy footprints….maybe a plastic bin or boot tray by the bathroom???? Thanks again!

      • Haha, to his credit, he does take his boots off before entering the house. I think it’s more the residual dirt and sand that gets mixed with water in the bathroom 🙂 I do like the idea of a bin though, I’ll keep thinking! Thanks!

  2. I absolutely love your blog. It is so thoughtful…so you. I am oh so proud of you and am so excited to be able to read this regularly. Love!

  3. Hi Erin! Thanks so much for the re-follow! I really appreciate you stopping by my blog! Unfortunately becuase I switched from wordpress.com to wordpress.org my new posts no longer show up in the wordpress.com reader – if your still interested in following, please stop by and enter your email address to receive the new recipes! Thanks and have a great day!

  4. Thank you for the kind words on my blog. I wish you lived closer, because I could definitely use the help, but I love the simplicity of your ideas. Can’t wait to put some to use. 🙂
Congrats and best of luck on your new endeavour!
